As part of a university module about the Avant-Garde art and animation movement, we were tasked to host an exhibition of our animation work which fit a manifesto of our making. It only felt fit with the nature of Avant-Garde as a movement and the current climate of the art world in 2026 to write an Anti-Generative AI manifesto. The event was honestly quite a bit of faff because it was essentially a group project between 20 people, half of which never show up and another quarter really wishing they hadn't.
